Thanks for the responses. I will try to take some pictures this weekend. The boat came to me from the Detroit area where it was set up to fish the lake.I was told by Sam Grifith Jr. that it was his dad's boat and he showed me the trophy his dad got when it set the world speed record from Miami to New York. The boat was changed to I/O's in the early sixty's and the motors are all Kiekhaefer. It also has 5 fuel tanks and a rear racing helm. The original color was Bertram racing blue (baby blue).I plan on starting the restiration soon and I'm trying to get as much info as possible to keep it as historicly correct as I can. Thank you in advance for all your help.
