Hi Guys. Let me introduce myself first of all. I am down sowth of you in El Salvador, Central America. I believe some of you read about our journey at the marlinnut ...since Andre from Baton Rouge (our parter) posted the link here a couple of weeks ago.

Ive been reading about Bertrams for a while but know that we have ours here I know what you guys were talking about. This boat is one hell of a boat and this site has to be the best...thanks to you guys Andre did a great job of upgading the original rudders on the boat and let me tell you.... I am glad he did!!! If it werent for that we would have been in deep Sh%*. jejeje ;-) We had a transmission overheat on the last leg of the journey and we made it back on one engine... and we went thru a stom at night with 6 foot breakers!!!! Let me tell you...the boat got us home safely and handled the conditions like a champ.

We have since taken the boat fishing twice and I am a believer....this boat raises fish like the devil!!!! No question about it!!!

I was reluctant to post stuff about fishing here as I was not sure you guys would like to hear about it but Rob C suggested you guys would like to hear about how the B31 is performing.
