Not so fast....

A check on the rules (which are still somewhat up in the air for 2006) indicates that so far, there are no diesel powered vehicles which qualify for the credit. So far, non of them pass the emissions standards. Almost all of the hybrid vehicles do, but each manufacturer is limited to 60,000 'incentive vehicles' per year. If you want in, you better buy quickly. Toyota sold 98,000 Prius's last year alone.

As far as I can tell, the rebate doesn't apply to boats.
