They are used out East by commercial pin hookers who use them to catch Bluefish on Umbrella rigs. They use them for fish that are usually about 30-35 feet deep. I have always seen them handlining them. Most of us use wire line or downriggers but thats usually too slow for the commercial guys . Walter
