John, although I told some friends who saw me on it the first night I was just about to sign the papers, the anwser has to be "No". I personally find it a very pretty boat, and it certainly has all the latest equipment, but it's not really a hard core fishing boat, and it's a bit out of my price range. I did spend an hour talking to Bertram's national sales manager last night. He says the 36 at the show - which is the blue hull boat in all the ads - with the optional 575hp Volvos, is a 38 knot boat. They also offer Cats in lesser horspower ratings. By the way, he says there is no new 31 in the works for at least three years, maybe never.
