I have a '69 FBC w/454s and 1.5/1 gears. I get about 4200 both motors with either 18x18 3-blades no cup or 17x15 4 blades with #5 cup. I've never had either set of props to a shop--going by what previous owners (of the props) told me. At 2800 I get around 20 knots, at 3000 about 22 knots. Don't know, don't want to know fuel burn.
