I was having a problem with my Yanmars eating up belts. It took the worldly knowledge of the guys on this board to get me lined out with the right belts.I talked with Larry Alexander at Land and Sea Marine in Texas city about the Steyr engines. He was looking to put a pair in a boat to promote future sales. Said would be $28k-30k with gears and instruments. There's a guy a couple of canals down from me that's been running them for the last 3 yrs with no problems what so ever. Larry also said that parts were readily available in the U.S.
