Steyr

I recall a while back that someone (I believe John Cranston) was looking at putting Steyr 6 cylinder (256 hp) engines in his 31. I was talking to those guys at the boat show (in Houston) and those things don't look bad. I was wondering what sort costs seem in line for a pair installed. I would also like to get input from anyone on the reliability and performance of the Steyrs if anyone has information. One pretty neat thing is the generator that just bolts on to the bell housing negating the need for a seperate home for the generator. Has anyone researched this? Thanks in advance.
