I run a pair of 170's in my 31 Bahia Mar. 2 to 1 gears, 4 blade 19 by 20 props with a medium cup. 2900 rpms gets me a 20 knt cruise. Went 401 nm from Freeport Tx to Port Eads at 20 knts and burned 178 gals. Burned 198 gals on the way back cruiseing at 3000 rpms and running 21.5 knts. Boat had marlin tower with full enclosure , fuel was full, coolers full of beer, 3 fat boys.
