UV,
The show was very lightly attended last night. In fact there was only one guy at the Bertram 36, a Marine Max Broker. I 36 is a nice boat with some good idea and with a 13'6" beam pretty roomy in the cabin. I liked the settee on the raised cockpit and the hydraulic reversable companion seat. The cockpit is wide but shallow as I think Ernest eluded to earlier. I complained about that to the salesman. He said a chair with rocket launch backrest would not fit. If you remove the blowboat windows and add a accent stripe above gunnels it would look like a Bertram. On the flip side the windows to create a more spacious feeling in the cabin as they provide natural light and allow a limited view. The boat was priced at $519K with full tower and 575hp Volvos.
Spoke with Tom Hilton, who showed me all the neat services they offer in satellite imagery. Looks like good value it you fish offshore alot or even a little at today's fuel prices...takes alot of the guess work out of which way to head out.Garry
