When you say retains moisture it sounds like condensation. Shrinkwrap needs to breath. When shrinpwrap first came out the tighter the better, but leave room to breath or make vents to breath.
We make horizontal slits in the wrap then tape around the slits with wide sprinkwrap tape which is good tape for anything else. You can cut a small hole and put a plastic cup or can throught the hole facing downward, tape around the hole/can then cut the bottom out to let air through.
Its good to leave open most hatches windows for circulation.
