Phil,

Epoxy can easily be tinted or colored but the pigment must be compatabile with the epoxy resin and hardner if a wet coloring agent is used. Dry pigments can be used with any resin system.

Epoxies are very ultra violet sensitive and will yellow with age if not painted. For epoxy that will be the top coat, select a color that won't show the yellowing.

Epoxies, other than epoxy top coat paints, don't make for a good top coat finish since they tend to weather poorly and chaulk up. An epoxy top coat is nearly impossible to polish out because the frictional heat softens the surface and drags in compound and lint from the buffing pad...
