I used Pascoe's method utilizing strips of 1/4" PVC foam board with 5200. No tank tangentcy to any walls with air and flex provided by the nature of the PVC foam board strips and 5200. So far so good. 1 year and several rough sea days. This is however for a SS aux tank but applicable to the main too. My main goes all the way into the step of the walkway a little. Having close to 300 gallons enables me to make the long runs here on Florida's left coast. Foaming would be OK if close attention per Patrick's method is applied , especially the bottom for drainage. Good luck and do it right since it's not too forgiving here for that installation. Dave K
