I had trouble with mine. A wheel puller may do it. I have an aluminum wheel that I believe is original. I did not want to use a standard wheel puller because it would have messed up the exterior edges of the hub. I used a pulley puller instead. I popped the center cap, drilled and tapped 3 holes at 120 degrees in the hub, and a pulley puller was then used to break it free pulling on the 3 tapped holes and reacting on the shaft. It required a substantial force that would have ruined the wheel if not applied to the hub only. Once it is frozen, just forget about doing it without some type of puller.
With a tap, drill and a cheapo "Hochimihn" puller ... see link, you can break it free very easily.
