Thanks for the info guys, that's what I needed.
The trip was awesome! I need to thank you Andre', Uncle Vic, Capt. Patrick, Patrick Nutt, Brian B. and the rest of you guys for shareing enough of your experience with me so I felt like I could pull the trip off.
We unloaded WHite MArlin of off the ship in Golfito Costa Rica. Checked everything out and headed up the coast for a 500 NM journey up the west coast of Costa RIca, Nicaragua, and eventually to El Salvador where She will be prowling the waters. It took us roughly 4 days.
It was a beautiful trip, a real adventure. We didn't get to fish as much as we would have liked because the ship was a bit late and I had a flight to make in El Salvador so I could be home for Christmas. We did fish some of the ROck formations along the way but mostly for Tuna and wahoo to eat and have a little fun.
Just to rub it in, while we were crossing the always rough and windy bay of Papagayo between Costa RIca and Nicaragua, we saw two Black Marlin Airing it out about 50 or 60 yds. behind the boat. Awesome! I'll be back in Feb to make up for missed fishing.
