That's the stuff, just be sure of what's on your deck currently. If you just have basic Urethane type paint the awl-grip is gonna lift it and then its alligator skin non skid (yuck!).
If your not sure, the standard Interlux Easypoxy works fine with the same non skid particles med.-fine (they've got lots of color too). To help it along top coat with straight paint after the non skid coat. This helps the wear characteristics of the non-skid (you won't see the grit as soon because you have a layer of colored paint to wear through)
