I used the "Bilge Buddy" that West marine sold and it is a piece of crap. It has two pins that extend into the bilge and is not supposed to pump oil. problem is it allows my rear bilge pump to remain on even when there is no water present. I have a friend that has had problems with them as well. I have gone to the Ultra pump switch now. Really heavy duty unit, which addresses Walters concerns about small wiring. The one on my Rule 3700 has 10 guage wires and is Mil spec rated. Not cheap but good! Rawleigh
