My problem (and complaint) has always been that the wires coming out of the "flapper" type switches are of such a flimsy gauge and insulation that unless the connections are sealed perfectly they deteriorate much too easily. Given what they are and the knowledge that they are going to be fully submerged, one would think those wires would be of a much higher quality. The way they are made, you cant even upgrade the wires.
