I'm sitting tight and waiting for a definate answer. I haven't had any of the telltale symptoms yet so I'm going to start saving my pennies and hope for the best.
If the alcohol is 'melting' the tank wouldn't we be able detect soft spots or some deformity in the tank. The cockpit on my 28 comes out pretty easily so I can access all but the bottom of the tank.
