John, my 1978 B33 has those same burn marks on virtually all my wiring. The marks correspond with where the wires are held in the factory clamps. Also, don't remember what year Shambala is, but on the NITES OFF the factory wiring is on about a dozen terminal strips & they are definitely connected with spade lugs. NOT CLOSED RINGS. I was definitely surprised at finding that.
