Auto pilot

We are changing out our auto pilot and are looking at the Simrad AP 16. What is the difference between the AP 16 and the AP 26? I have read their site and cant seem to find what the difference is.

Should we upgrade to the AP 26 or will the AP 16 work for us. Twin cummins 300HP
