i thought you were having a hard time finding the yanmar belts, i have a dealer by that i use for my 230 yanmars. i have heard similar problems with the belts but have not had any problems myself, i have 1100 hrs on my230 and have ony change my belts twice, i could stop down at the dealer and get a part # for you and see if its the same one you are using.
