Teak and Holly Flooring

I'm going to begin the install of a new floor in the boat. Going with teak and holly plywood. The old carpet is up and its louder than a pentecostal preacher on speed in there. Any suggestions to underlay the plywood to quiet things down? How about fastening the whole thing to the existing marine plywood floor?-Tom
