Mike, you gotta see it with your own eyes to realize how bad the destruction is. It is total, down to the slabs. My guess is the Venice Marina and Cypress Cove will be back in temporary operation in a month or two, but back to "normal" will be years, if ever. Port Eads will probably never return to anything close to what we knew. It's now 4 months since Katrina, and half of New Orleans does not have power and 75% does not have phones. 205,000 houses in New Orleans were destroyed. Try to get your mind around that number. Below N.O. it is 100 times worse. Most of New Orleans does not have natural gas service back, even after they pumped 3 million gallons of salt water out of the cast iron gas lines. Low spots in the lines still hold water. What will the salt water in the gas lines do? Not enough CX in the world to save that. It is a mess.

The UVI will continue, shame it can't be where its always been, but the place is destroyed, not just beat up. IT IS TOTALLY DESTROYED. Go drive around New Orleans and you will be at a loss for words, then think about the lower delta, Venice, etc, and multiply it by 100.
