Your heads probably have 9mm injector holes. They could have either 9mm or 7mm injectors with sleeves. The cracks you describe were a problem with the early 5.9's I think CPL 970? You can buy brand new heads complete for $700-$800 but they wont be Cummins castings. You defintely want the 7mm heads. Check out and subscribe to boatdiesel.com they have a great cummins forum and Tony Athens the moderator is very knowledgeable regarding the B series motors. Good Luck, RichE
