They are right in that us southern boys don't understand.

We had the sense long ago not to live where it snows.

Sorta like a yankee and a southern gent are in the rest room.
Both use the urinal.
The yankee washes his hands, the southern gent does not.

The yankee inquires as to why he does not wash his hands.

To which the southern gent replies, "my mama taught me not to pee on my hands".
