Rob- All advice here is well intentioned and not meant to be anything else but helpful. It might be good to see if there's a B-28 nearby that's owned by one of The Faithful that you might look at for the details of motor mounting etc. My earlier comment was based on the seeming use of raw plywood, disconnected lower station and poorly painted panels etc. As far as raw water cooling goes, the resale value of the boat and the ability to sell it is much enhanced by fresh water cooling whether you need it or not. If there's a lot of them listed, it may be because they're usually harder to sell. Will a fresh water cooled engine overheat? You bet. The system is more complicated, but the engines as a rule do last longer. No matter what you decide, this gang of Bertram bretheren is here to help you. Walter
