Cummins 330's in the B31?

Hey folks,
Still debating whether to get started on "the project".
One aspect which I've been wrestling with is whether the Cummins 330's are really too much for the boat.
I've heard that all that power tends to push the nose under at spead unless the shaft angle is changed.
Is this really true? If so how bad is the effect? I probably won't do much big water in it at any rate and you don't have to go fast all the time. Although being endowed with the Y chromasome I find its always nice to have the extra horsepower there!(in case there's Luhrs or similar that pulls up alongside thinking its hot stuff!)

So would I be making a regretable mistake? What have the sea trials been like when it's actually done?(Bruce) Is this fact or theory?
Would appreciate some objectve input.
Sincerely,
Brother JJ
