Scott, that is a good observation, but the Tef Gel is a thin film product, in the ilk of Corrosion X, and not really a lubricnt like grease. If the prop is honed on the shaft taper anywhere near correctly, then the amount of shaft to prop bore contact is 10 times what a "slap on" job is. The Tef Gel will get so thin it's not an issue on friction, just prevents galling between the shaft taper and the prop. Tef Gel, like Corrosion X, is just a totally different approach to keeping metal mating parts from galling without "greasing" them.
