The prop puller like Rawleigh posted is the best in my view. The proper way to reinstall a prop is to first check the shaft keyway for cracks - the keyway should be "spooned" to prevent cracks in the first place. Then put some valve grinding compound on the shaft taper and loosly slip the prop on and twist it back and forth to hone the prop bore to the shaft taper. You can easily see the spots that need more honing when you remove the prop. When it's honed to your satisfaction, clean the shaft taper adn inside of the prop bore good with a rag and mineral spirits, using a stick with the rag wrapped around it for the prop bore. Then put a thin coat of Tef Gel on the sahft taper and threads and install tight. Most prop shops that say install dry never even heard of Tef Gel. Installing any two dissimilar metals without using it is a fool's play. It is there, available right here on the 'links' section, buy it and use it, one of the magic potions we all learned here.
