Oak Bluffs gets my vote. Plenty to do on land, good fishing and plenty of accomdations if need be.
Dock reservations start Feb. 28 in O.B.
There are so many great spots in the area, maybe a harbor cruise one afternoon. From O.B. you could cruise to Vineyard Haven, Lake Tashmoo, Menemsha then maybe round up the wagons at Tarpaulin cove for a dip. All very easily done in afternoon.
