Shipping B31 items to Bermuda

Guy's,
I'm way out here in Bermuda (sucks to be me). I know this doesn't evoke too much sympathy but I am still brethren!(as evidenced by my rather excessive Bertram collection)
Anyway mates I am rather reluctantly coming around to the idea of fixing up my project 31. Having totally restored my B25 3 yrs ago I'm not looking forward to the hours!!! I plan to restore her pretty well back to original styling and specs except for a few conveniences. Now here is the catch.
Living here in Bermuda, everything will have to be imported, and to bring this stuff in (from cockpit floor to inverter to batteries to generator)separately gets real pricey real quick! What I thought I'd do is get all the stuff bought and, when its all ready, ship it all at once either on pallets or in a container-otherwise it is prohibitively expensive.
Problem is its probably going to take a few weeks/months to get everything together in one place ready for shipping.
I called one shipping agent and they're not too fussy about having stuff hanging around for a time before shipping as it tends to go missing.
Any of you guys got any suggestions/solutions to my problem?
Would appreciate any pointers as I am not too familiar with the shipping industry.
Sincerely,
JJ
(Bermuda Brother)
