On the 500hp range engines, I would have to know how to access the engines.
Engines in the wide open, like the 31 are much cheaper than pulling them out thru a cabin door dissasembled.
Much more labor intensive.
Also if the block won't fit thru a cabin door, does the rear bulhead have to be removed.

I have had to do that many times and the labor cost is reflective of that.

On the I/O. If its same engine replacement, no drives, 1 to 2 days max.
