Jim,

Cracks in the paint is the main issue, along with either bulge or dimple depending on ambiant temperature... If you can access the joints run a sawsall with a corumdom encrusted blade between the hull and the bulkhead, open up the gap with a die grinder or Dremel, then fill the gap with 5200.
