UV, that unfortunate guy with the yellow renovated Blackfin 32, the one missing its shaft log seals, is throwing in the towel, and has the boat up for sale for 40K (sounds kinda high for a boat dented up with significant water damage, and most likely, worthless motors). Said the motors went all the way under, and he is going to buy another boat rather than start again on the 'Fin. It's posted over on the Blackfin site.

BTW, on an unrelated note, we had a discussion a while back (can't remember if it was here or on the Blackfin site) about boat weights during one of the Bert vs. Blackfin discussions. My marina got a new lift with a decent scale, and my 29 Combi weighs in at 15,500 pounds full of fuel and water, but otherwise stripped for the winter.
That's easily 1,500 pounds more than I would have guessed.

Glad you liked the digital optical tach, worked perfect for me, and has been making its rounds from boat to boat in the marina.
