Based on the advice I've gotten here I've sprayed a 50-50 mixture of CX and laquer thinner on both my engines and generator, and no corrosion at all since. You can also use it straight on all kinds of things, including electrical. I even shot some in the windings of my pool pump at home that was crapping out, and it's worked fine ever since. Do a search of messages on Corrosion X and you'll find tons of information.
