Can't agree more, wrong engines can kill the resale of boats. Saw a couple of examples where big truck or construction company owners put Mack truck engines in there sizeable sportfish boats. When it came time to sell it was a disaster. There was a 53 Ocean Yacht in Florida with Macks about five years ago, took three years to sell and about 30% less then other 53 Oceans of the same year.
