The annual trek of aged yankees and Canadians has begin to clog our roadways like crisco in your arteries.

No less than 25 out of state and country plates between Pats shop and my House, 5 miles, tonight did I count. Weaving in and out of traffic trying to pass these stationary head stones scattered about the roadway is a real joy.

This was preceeded by a transient trawler towed into the marina the other day by the coast guard after his engine stopped in 8 to 10' seas.

The home port was Toronto and after looking at his 1950's vintage Cummins engine and determining it was hydro locked from a cracked head after it over heated for only a few seconds according to the owner, temp was up to 260 according to the wife and he tried to refill with nice cold water to cool the engine down.

It looks to be a long season.

Pats Texas move break is going to be a welcome relief.
