Replacing the bulkheads is not as impossible as it may first seem. I did both of mine because of the holes drilled in them over the decades. Each side is in two pieces. If the bottom is still sound just do the tops that are obviously shot. Unscrew the thousands of screws at the bottom of the tops and the few at the top. Wiggle them out of their place by pulling them aft at the bottom and then down and they slide out. Sounds simple and it is except that there is always something in the way. Use the old ones as templates. Marine plywood covered in laminate and they will look good as new and probably last another forty years.
As the old Jag xk 150 manual says, "installation is the reverse of removal". Sure it is, except that those things in the way durung removal become more critical since everything is new and you don't want to scratch things. Good luck, Mikey
