Here another two cents worth. We have BigBlocks w/ 325hp Mercs. Couple yrs ago, we added K&N air filters for more horse power. Now I don't know how much we got but man, she's fast. Gets out of the hole quick too. The props are 18x18 for blades. This only adds to the ability to take heavy seas now in the North Atlantic.

Where was I ? I seemed to have forgotten something. Oh yeah, the trim taps! We got 'em and like 'em. With a steady RPM, adust the taps and watch the speed on your GPS change.
