The 35B has room to raise the deck at least 1.5 inches. The only trouble is the step inside. If the rear bulkhead is off, as it usually is during repower, than the whole lower silll section can be raise and no one would ever know. My boat still turns up 23 kts at 2500 rpm as the manual says. It will cruise from 2000 rpms to 2500 rpms with the 300 HP 3208's. 370HP cummins would make it fly; but most of the time you only do 20-22 kts because of the seas. For those few flat days I would like to have the additional HP. This year at the Mid-Atlantic Rendezvous we are supposed to have a 35B that is owned by the local cummins rep. It has a tricked out 370 HP cummins. Hr said it has a little more than stock HP.
I am sure Holts can do the work.
