Get someone that knows marine electrical systems to do a bonding/corrosion test on your boat,on dock side power and even in the water around your boat. I had a problem at a marina a few years ago. Ate up only the starboard prop. I used a corrision meter and found the dock 120 volt service touching a peice of exposed rebar from a concrete dock piling next to my starboard side transom. It was putting A.C. right into the water at my boat. Marina maintance came down shut off the power, cut the rebar off and turned the power back on. No problems after that, but I had to buy a new set of wheels. I kept the eaten up props for emergency spares.
I find that most boats have bad refridge grounding, air conditioner grounding and older marina wiring are the three biggest culprits of stray current affecting our boats. Salt water is a great conductor of electricity and the problem might be right at your boat or I've seen it as far away as two or three boats. Find the problem as soon as you can, props, shafts and thru-hulls are expensive, also only use good quality zincs.
