Dave - well, these coonass cypress trees are tough as nails. They get shook big time by hurricanes and other bad stuff all the time. Mine are about 60' tall and none got blown down by either Katrina or Rita vs. some oaks, gums, and elms around me flat on the ground. In fact, I did not see any cypress blown down or uprooted in my area. Lots of pines just snapped off or uprooted, boucoup oaks snapped or uprooted.
Sure, send the outrigger stand offs and the tab for shipping. Think one on AJ may have been bent in Katrina, if we can ever get her out of the building in New Orleans to do a proper inspection. Now been 3 months since Katrina and still don't have her out. You would have to see the condition of the city of New Orleans to even have a clue how bad it is. I will start pressing for her recovery next week, getting nervous about her just sitting there with no prosepct of a repair facility that will be able to do anything for months to come. Maybe time to recover her, make sure she's water tight, and tow her back 50 miles to the camp.
