Steve - I did sorta of what Walter did. I used a large 120v Jabsco flex impeller pump that I keep as a spare for my a/c pump (also last UVI doubled as a raw water pump for the genset). I used half inch automotive heater hose and put about 10' on both the intake and output side so you can put your oil can off the boat or at least out of the way. The best trick I found is to keep the pump and hoses in a large plastic storage container and put a few layers of newspaper in the bottom, 'cause it's impossible to change oil without dribbling a little here and there. When finished, just stuff some paper towel in the hose ends and coil them up on top of the pump, snap the lid on the storage container and you are done.

I have the whole she-bank here in the shop at home if you want to see pix of how it's set up. Maybe some day will get AJ back so I can use it again......
