Oil change pump "system" *LINK*

I'm looking at buying one of these two from Defender to change the oil in my Cummins B210's. (The Oil Change $119 or the Porta-Quick $134) I assume I can change my transmission fluid with these units too. Is one any better than the other? Or should I just buy a pump, bucket and hoses? Are these just Jabsco diaphragm bilge pumps?
