Walter, I used a 35 gallon Tempo plastic tank under the deck in my outboard boat, never had a problem. I put a 50 gallon plastic saddle tank - don't believe I paid much more than 100 bucks for it - in the 31 when it was gas, cleaned it up and will be using it for diesel. Much better than the rusty steel Tempo 5o gallon diesl tank I bought used.
