While I know this is not what you are looking for, Dave Cockerham and I, along with a couple other friends went out Sunday and killed the blackfish. Up to 22 inches. Beautiful day, nice weather, and what good eating fish!

Last weekend and this one past have been incredible blackfishing in Long Island sound. Last weekend he hit 8 fish off of Black point in Niantic, and then we did another 9 on Sunday past between New London and Seaflower reef.

It was fun, since I have not often found myself anchored and bottom fishing on a B31!

Good times. Best of luck to you in the hunt for tuna. This summer was miserable for me when it came to offshore fishing...
