I had a 1995 Robalo prior to the Bertram and it had a 120 gallon plastic tank. Kinda made me nervous at first since all of my prior boats had aluminum tanks. Saw the guy that bought the Robalo a few weeks ago and he didn't mention any issues with the tank which is now 10 years old. Not sure if plastic is considered "quality boat construction", but a lot of boat manufacturer's are using them. Might consider a custom aluminum tank to maximize capacity.
