Travelled back to Slidell this weekend and on the way over Robin calls and tells me I should stop and get a new rod n reel cuz the fish were busting behind the apt the night before. Hey...never argue with your wife telling you to buy another fishin pole...so I did...a bag of deadley dudleys, a rattle trap and a zara super spook to boot. Caught 2 nice reds and 11 specks behind the apt...the ones this am on top water. Watched a porpoise working mullet behind the house all weekend. Fried shrimp last night and specks for lunch today. Good to be back home even though your Tigers eeked out a victory over my Tide. Guess I should of kept watching after mid-way 2nd quarter...but had to go peel shrimp and drink beer.
