Those would be 15 degree struts. Are you sure of the speed at which this happens? From reading other threads about power, what you seem to be experiencing seems to happen at 30+ kts when the boat has been overpowered. Captain Patrick is the expert and I am sure will have the technical answer (and hopefully) the solution. Your gear ratio and prop size/pitch might be of help to him.
